1. Everhart Museum – named after the prominent and distinguished Scranton medical doctor, Dr. Isaiah Fawkes Everhart. Dr. Everhart was a talented scientist who bestowed upon the city what is now the Everhart Museum circa 1907. The museum houses exhibits offering tourists the opportunity to explore art, science and natural history. It also offers unique hands-on education for school-aged children as well as camps in the summer. There are also ample adult natural history and science classes. In the autumn, the Everhart museum holds the annual Farm to Table diner, offering locally raised and grown ingredients.

3. Eric Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society - for over 110 years, the Erie Lackawanna Railroad was the areas pride and joy for serving fresh 5 star meals to passengers travellng on its rails. Today, the objective the Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society is to preserve this historic heritage. The preservation society has restored several cars, to include one sleeper car and two of the Diesel coach cars. They offer tours of each car if contacted directly. Additionally, they offer rides on the cars with thoughtful meals reminiscent of these bygone years.
4. The Caitlin House – is a Tudor-style mansion built in the early 1900s that was first the home of George H. Caitlin, who was a distinguished Scranton businessman. The mansion provides 16 rooms that have been tastefully restored, furnished is period pieces that represent the elegance of that age. The house is adorned with beautiful wood wainscoting, a grand staircase, and enough stained glass to make a church envious. Today the Scranton, PA Caitlin house is open to visitors year round on Tuesday through Saturdays.
5. The Houdini Museum – offer tribute to arguably the world’s greatest magician. Harry Houdini is the most famous magicians the world has ever know.
